So we just got back from gorgeous Monerey, CA. We played only a 40 minute set at the Monterey Cowboy Music and Poetrey Festival. So there was plenty of time to enjoy ourselves.

Here we are goofing off backstage. That's Joe Hertz with the eyes. On the left is flautist Tami Cooper. This wsa her first gig with the band stateside. Behind her is Mr. Wilkie himself. Such tight quarters - not only did Dave bash his mandonline into the counter and the table he managed to snag one of the stringends on Denise's very expensive beaded vest. She was not impressed!

One of the highlights of Monterey was the delicious seafood. Dungeness crab was in season - I couldn't help taking a picture of this beauty. It took me FOREVER to eat and I then I needed a bath!

Joe getting romantic with his rose with all the Monterey harbour lights behind him. (he's going to kill me)

Here are Dave and Denise with our #1 fan Mary. (#2 is her huband Jim) You can always count on her friendly face at these gatherings. I was born the exact same day and year as her daughter so she's always looking out for me (and buying me drinks!)

I stayed a couple of extra days in the Bay area and spent WAY too much money. (Yes I did confess all the purchases when I went though customs) Union Square was all decked out in xmas lights. It all feels so stange when you've got a palm tree next to a Christmas tree.
